Industrial - Monobloc and bare shaft pumps
The self-priming pumps of the Industrial Series efficiently handle a wide range of fluids, with a flow rate of 100 to 20,000 litres/hour.
Description
The body of the pumps comprising the Industrial series are made wholly in 316 stainless steel or in brass, and can be fitted with different types of motor powering.
Thanks to their carefully studied build design, they have just one moving part, no gearing and no metal-to-metal contacts, all of which considerably reduces their wear and tear and guarantees continued service.
They are versatile and perfectly adaptable, because the pump body can turn 360º, enabling the outlets to be positioned in accordance with the installation requirements.
The pump body is eccentric to the turbine, as it has a built-in fixed cam.
The turbine inside the pump body creates cubicles between its blades. When it turns, a change takes place in their volume. When the blades lose contact with the cam, a negative pressure is produced, causing the suction of the fluid towards the inside of the chamber.
The fluid is conveyed towards the output, where the blades regain contact with the cam, causing a pressure increase, which drives the fluid out.
